Jeanne K. Bruno, 70, formerly of St. Louis, MO and Fountain Valley, CA, died on Wednesday, April 9, 2003 in Chicago, IL. She was born in Eau Claire on June 12, 1932, the daughter of Arnold "Butch" and Blanche (McFarlane) Hauck. She graduated from St. Patrick's High School with the class of 1950, and then attended the University of Minnesota and NYCU in New York. Jeanne married Ronald Bruno in New York City in on February 12, 1956.\r\nJeanne will be remembered for the warm, loving way she had with people and her exceptional sense of humor. Her devotion to her Lord Jesus Christ was the focal point of her life. Her immeasurable love for her children, grandchildren, family and friends was evident throughout her life. \r\nShe is survived by her eight children, Mary Anne (Don) Madison of Mpls, MN, Ronnie Bruno, of San Diego, CA, Francesca Bruno, of Chicago, Stephanie Henley of Aurora, IL, Tony (Lori) Bruno of Aliso Vieja, CA, Dominic Bruno of Temecula, CA, Jillana Bruno of Los Angeles, CA, Angela Bruno of Chicago and their father, Ronald Bruno of Menomonee Falls, WI; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marge (Bob) Petri of St. Louis, MO and Susan Cramer of Eau Claire; three brothers, Thomas Hauck of Elk Mound, John (Lisa) Hauck of Reno, NV, and Steven Hauck of Eau Claire; many nieces and nephews.\r\nJeanne was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mary Ann Hauck.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2003 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Steven L. Brandt officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Eau Claire. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home.
