Jeanne McRae, 83, of Eau Claire, died peacefully Friday, September 17, 2004, at home. Jeanne was born in Eau Claire on July 26, 1921, the daughter of Oscar and Theresa (Zutter) Rostad. She attended Eau Claire Schools.\r\nJeanne married Harold J. McRae on April 19, 1947, at St. Agnes Church in St. Paul.\r\nJeanne is survived by her husband, Harold; four daughters, Cathy Haasl of Eau Claire, Patt (Steven) Nusbaum of Apple Valley, MN; Joan (Doug) Raasch of South St. Paul, MN, and Laurie (Wayne) Nelson of Lakeville, MN; five grandchildren, Melissa (Joseph) Schmidt, Amy (Raymond) Steinbach, Christopher Fasching, and Theresa and Sarah Nelson; two great grandchildren, Samuel and Sophia Schmidt; two sisters, Eileen (Harvey) Huntington of Eau Claire and Fern Rasmussen of Woodbury, MN; and several nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2004, at Grace Lutheran Church Chapel with Pastor David J. Irgens officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Family and friends may call one hour prior to services Tuesday at church.\r\nLenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home is serving the family.
