JEFFRY J. BLAESER, 52, of 1902 Rudolph Court, died Sunday, October 14, 2001 at Lakeside Nursing&Rehabilitation South in the town of Eagle Point. His death resulted from a head injury suffered while deer hunting in November 2000 in Washburn County. He was born on January 15, 1949 in Eau Claire, the son of Cliff and Vadne (La Pean) Blaeser. Jeff graduated from Regis High School with the class of 1967.\r\nHe was a medic in the U.S. Army serving in Korea from March 1969 until his honorable discharge in October of 1970.\r\nJeff was employed by the University of Wisconsin system for over 11 years. \r\nSurvivors include a daughter, Lisa (Christopher Casas) Blaeser of Chicago, IL, and a son, Jacob Blaeser of Pleasonton, CA; two grandchildren, Genevieve and Samuel Blaeser; a sister, Diane (Noble) Lokken of Eau Claire; five brothers, Michael (Sherry), Jonathan (Christine), and Alan all of Eau Claire, Steven (Teresa) of Spooner and Vaughn (Karen) of Sun Prairie; and several nieces and nephews.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents, and a granddaughter, Sage.\r\nJeff was an outdoor enthusiast. He enjoyed cross-country skiing, hunting, fishing, hiking and motorcycling. He was a man who loved life and his family, and he will be missed by all.\r\nA Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church with Father Edmund Klimek officiating. Burial will be in the town of Birchwood, Washburn County. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
