JERE L. PICHOTTA, 54, of Elk Mound, completed this life's journey on August 24, 2001, after battling ALS with persistent optimism for nearly two years. He was born on February 28, 1947 in Duluth, MN, the son of Cyril and Evva (Erlandson)Pichotta.\r\nHe was loved deeply and will be greatly missed by his wife, Mary Jackson-Pichotta; a brother, Jack (Genea) Pichotta; sisters, Joan (Mel) Thommes and Jayne (Michael) Frommes; nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jim.\r\nSpecial thanks to Northwest Wisconsin Hospice and PALS Community Home staff. \r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to PALSCommunity Home, 1616 Folsom St., Eau Claire, WI 54703.
