\r\nJerome J. Pabich, 76, of Eau Claire, WI passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and family at home on Saturday, December 4, 2010. \r\nHe was born November 25, 1934 in Thorp, WI to Peter and Mary Pabich. He married Marian Henke on July 13, 1957 in Thorp.\r\nHe grew up learning the carpentry trade working side by side with his father Peter. The time they spent together led to Jerry's love for the home building. \r\nIn 1966, Jerry and Marian moved to Eau Claire where Jerry began working for the home builder, Wayne Jenson. This passion led him and his wife Marian to create Pabich Homes, Inc. in 1969. Jerry was a charter member of the Chippewa Valley Home Builders Assoc. In 1990, sons, Tim and Bill created Royal Construction, Inc. where Jerry played a role as Special Projects and Quality Control Expert. Jerry became known for his commitment to his customers, incredible service, and quality craftsmanship. \r\nJerry was a member of the Moose Lodge 1408 where he and Marian enjoyed dancing and spending time among the company of many close friends. \r\nHe will be fondly remembered as an avid Packer and Brewers fan. \r\nHe is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marian; seven children, Tim (Denise) Eau Claire, Diane (Gerry) Nayes Chippewa Falls, Bill (Vicki) Eau Claire, Nancy Pabich Eau Claire, Carol (Greg) Werchowski Brookfield, Al (Jody) Chippewa Falls, and Tom (Melissa)Madison; and fourteen grandchildren; brothers Pat (Mary Lou), Norbert, Phil (Jackie), and sister Audrey Johnson.\r\nJerry was preceded in death by his parents, and granddaughter Kasey Pabich. \r\nHis children, grandchildren, and friends will miss him and have fond memories of year-round activities at the cottages and the hunting lands where they enjoyed many outdoor activities.\r\nFuneral services will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 1:00pm at Immaculate Conception Church in Eau Claire, WI. There will be a private burial ceremony with immediate family only at a later date. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 4:00pm to 7:30pm at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau Claire, WI 54703 and one hour before the service at the Church on Thursday. \r\nIn lieu of flowers, family requests donations to Eau Claire Interfaith Hospitality Network 309 Lake St., Eau Claire, WI 54701, or Northwest Wisconsin Home Care, 4033 123rd St., Chippewa Falls, WI 54729.
