Jessica (Jessie) Johnson passed away on June 2nd, 2024, at the age of 52. Jessie was born on November 15th, 1971, in Eau Claire, WI, to parents Harold & Sandra Fischer. She grew up in Foster, WI and lived most of her adult life in Eau Claire. She worked for many years as a Metrologist at Phillips Medisize. She was a caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She had a bright and energetic personality and was known for her infectious laughter and beautiful smile, never turning down an opportunity to give you a jump scare or pull a prank. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy. Many days were spent with her son, Nick, and his family at the waterpark. She was once told that she was spoiling her grandkids and she replied, "not spoiled, just very loved". Gigi will be missed every day. Jessie loved the sun, the beach and the water. Her biggest passion was riding bikes (ones with motors and ones without). Her many adventures with her sister, Jackie, were followed by many people, or fans as she called them, wondering what kind of shenanigans they would get into next. She will be deeply missed by many. Jessie is survived by her son, Nick (Kimmie) Macik and grandsons, Owen & Aaron of Altoona, WI; father, Harold (Jane) Fischer of Eau Claire, WI; siblings: Melissa Fischer of Chippewa Falls, WI, Jackie (Brad) Dejno of Independence, WI, Eric (Melissa) Fischer of Eau Claire, WI, Samantha (Anthony) Fischer of Bloomer, WI, and Travis (Jodi) Fischer of Eau Claire, WI; many loved nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She is now at peace, joining her mother, Sandra, and sisters, Jodie Krizan and Angela Fischer. A memorial service for Jessie will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services, 814 First Avenue, Eau Claire, at 11:30 AM.
