Joan M. Breden, 80, of Eau Claire, died Monday, March 15, 2010, at Luther Hospital \r\nShe was born in Eau Claire on March 18, 1929, a daughter of Benard and Bessie (Fagerlind) Johnson.\r\nJoan married Willard D. Breden on October 30, 1948, in Eau Claire at Grace Lutheran Church. \r\nShe enjoyed sewing, embroidering, baking, camping, traveling, and loved to shop.\r\nJoan was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.\r\nJoan is survived by her husband, Willard; two daughters, Julie (Tim) Sinz of Oregon, WI, and Barbara (Robert Wegner) Breden of Eau Claire; two grandchildren Matthew and Heidi Sinz both of Oregon, WI; her sister, Norma Heaviland of Eau Claire; brother-in-law, Allan (Patricia) Breden of Marshfield; many nephews and nieces; and her poodle, Molly. \r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Geraldine Rickey, Neva Cunningham and Alice Vincent; her brother, Richard Johnson; brother-in-law, Leon Heaviland; and her nephew, Patrick Heaviland. \r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 19, 2010, at Grace Lutheran Church Chapel with the Rev. Rolf A. Nestingen officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
