JOAN E. SCHLEUSNER, 67, of 815 Chapin St., died Thursday, January 6, 2000 at Luther Hospital, surrounded by her children. She was born May 1, 1932 to Edwin and Ruth (Cartwright) Schleusner in Dunn County near Menomonie. As a young girl, she moved with her family to Eau Claire, where she graduated from St. Patrick's High School in 1950. \r\nJoan married Robert A Tiller on June 23, 1951 in Eau Claire. She worked many years in bookkeeping and accounting in the Eau Claire area until retiring in 1993. Joan enjoyed playing cards with friends and family, and she loved travel, golf and swimming.\r\nSurvivors include four children, Vicky (Bill) Ricci of Comstock, Dan Tiller of Hailey, ID, Julie (Dave) Zinn of Eau Claire, and Mark Tiller of Boyd; four grandchildren, Matt, Jessica, Dan, and Ben Ricci; two sisters, Geri Sleep and Darlene (Richard) Bell, both of Eau Claire; two brothers, David Schleusner of Eau Claire, and Dale Schleusner; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents.\r\nMemorial Services will be held at 11a.m., Saturday, January 8th, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Deanna M. Wildermuth officiating. Friends may call an hour prior to services at the funeral home.
