JoAnn (Hrubesch) Dehnke, age 81, of Eau Claire, passed away on Thursday, November 01, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family. JoAnn was born on December 24, 1936, in Eau Claire to Herman and Evelyn (Peterson) Hrubesch. She wed Erwin Dehnke on June 13, 1959. They lived in Milwaukee for 30 years and came back to Eau Claire in 1987. JoAnn enjoyed gardening and grew beautiful flowers. She loved animals and took in many cats and dogs over the years. JoAnn could be counted on to lend a hand to those who needed it, she was always caring for her family and friends. JoAnn is survived by her sister, LaVonne Hrubesch; brother, Ron (Joan) Hrubesch; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Bonnie Dehnke and Donna Rosenthal; and brother, Gerald Hrubesch.
