IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jodie Lynn
(Kaufman) Snow
June 10, 1964 – January 3, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Jodie Lynn (Kaufman) Snow, who left us peacefully on January 3, 2026, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Surrounded by her loving family, she fought courageously against cancer until the end. Jodie lived a life overflowing with service, love, and joy-for her family, friends, and especially her cherished animals.
Born in Connecticut and raised amid the stunning islands of Hawaii, Jodie developed a lifelong love of adventure and independence. She honed her skills training horses, blending that expertise with her strong, free-spirited nature. Her sharp mind thrived on puzzles, while her deep connection to nature shone through her passion for animals.
Jodie proudly served her country in the United States Navy as an air traffic controller, where her dedication and skill shone brightly. After her military service, she relocated to Wisconsin to raise her sons and later welcomed her wonderful daughters-whom she loved and raised as her own. Above all, she cherished every moment with her seven grandchildren, who were her greatest pride and joy. She was an extraordinary grandmother to them all.
She is survived by her loving mother; Cathie Moore; brother, Dave (Staci) Kaufman; sisters, Barb and Julie (Dale) Hazelton, her children; Denny (Raquel) Helmer, Tim (Jenn) Helmer, Daniel (Allison) Helmer, David Snow, Nick Snow, Ashley (Nick) Wright and Rebecca Snow; grandchildren, Destiny, Esmae, Susie, Ryker, Willa, Tobias and Bonnie.
She was preceded in death by her father, Delbert Kaufman; stepfather, Ronald Moore; her grandparents and great-grandparents.
Jodie's legacy of service, unwavering love, and devotion to family will continue to inspire everyone whose life she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
