JOHN R. ELLIS, 47, of 848 Kari Drive, Eau Claire, died Monday, March 15, 1999 at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was born on April 2, 1951 in Eau Claire to Emanuel and Bessie (Knott) Ellis.\r\nHe was a truck driver for MTS-LTD Trucking of Wilson, WI, over the past 12 years.\r\nJohn was an avid hunter and fisherman.\r\nSurvivors include his mother, Bessie (Clare Harshman) Ellis, and his father, Emanuel (Iva) Ellis both of rural Elk Mound; a daughter, Tasha Elllis a granddaughter, CJ Ellis; a brother, William (Debra) Ellis all of Eau Claire; two sisters, Sandra Stahlbusch of Eau Claire, and Judith Klopp of Gilmanton, seven nephews; five nieces; seven great nieces and nephews; and a special lady friend, Lynn Anderson of Chippewa Falls. \r\nHe was preceded in death by, a special friend, Russell Meservey.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home with Captain Scott Spicer of the Salvation Army officiating. Burial will be in Waneka Cemetery, town of Spring Brook, Dunn County. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and an hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.\r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred
