JOHN N. LOKKEN, 29, of 810 Garden St., died Sunday, July 23, 2000 at his home. John was born on December 22, 1970 to Noble and Diane (Blaeser) Lokken in Eau Claire. Following graduation from North High School with the Class of 1989, John held a variety of jobs here in Eau Claire.\r\nSurvivors include his parents, Noble and Diane; three sisters Julie (Charles) Fitch, Jennifer Lokken and Jill Lokken all of Eau Claire; grandparents, Harry and Dorothy Valaski of Mesa, AZ; many aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved dog, Rocky. John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cliff and Vadne Blaeser, Noble and Myrtle Lokken; and his foster grandparents, Mike and Ann Fonfara. \r\nWe will always remember his sense of humor, determination, courage and how he fought the good fight. John was well liked by all that knew him. "God rest your soul John"\r\nA celebration of his life will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. James the Greater Catholic Church with Father John A. Schultz officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church. There will 7 p.m. Public Prayer Service, Wednesday at the funeral home.
