Jon Reid Perry, 69, of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, passed away on August 16, 2025, at County Terrace in Stanley, Wisconsin. He was born on October 27, 1955, in Eleva, Wisconsin, to Dean and Amy Perry. Jon graduated from Eleva-Strum High School before serving his country in the United States Navy from 1976 to 1980. Following his military service, he pursued a variety of ventures, including product distribution and work as an engineering support technician, before retiring. He attended Pentecostal Assembly in Eau Claire for many years.

Known as an inventor with a creative mind, Jon enjoyed a wide range of hobbies, including fishing, cars, and woodworking and he will be remembered for his humor and the many interests that filled his life.

Jon is survived by his sons Jared Perry, Ellery Perry, Stephen Perry, and Gregory Perry; two grandchildren, Sawyer Perry and Levi Perry; his former spouse, Heidi Perry, who remained a close friend; his brother, Bill (Deb) Perry; his sister-in-law, Kathy; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Amy Perry, and his brother, Don Perry.

Jon's wishes for cremation will be honored at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at County Terrace in Stanley, Wisconsin, as well as to Heartland Hospice and Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home for their care, guidance, and support during this time.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 19, 2025 at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery (N4063 Veterans Way, Spooner, WI).  There will also be a Celebration of Life gathering held from 4:00 - 6:00 PM on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Irvine Park - Hollow Shelter (125 Bridgewater Avenue, Chippewa Falls).
