Joseph F. Slota, 62, of Eau Claire, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2015, at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2015, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1712 Highland Ave. in Eau Claire, with Father Donald Meuret officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, 2015, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave. in Eau Claire, and again one hour prior to Mass on Monday at the church. Burial will be at 2 p.m. St. Hedwig's Cemetery in Thorp.
