Josephine H. Krueger, 72, of Eau Claire, died Thursday, August 14, 2008, at her home in the town of Wheaton. She was born in Eau Claire on September 5, 1935, the daughter of William and Jennie (Lima) Krueger. Josephine was a life long resident of the town of Wheaton.\r\nShe graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1953. Josephine worked as a secretary for New York Life Insurance Company in Eau Claire until her retirement. \r\nShe was a member of First Lutheran Church where she helped as a volunteer with the church office.\r\nJosephine is survived by many cousins including Donald and Sue Kensmoe both of Augusta, Jerry (Kim) Lamb of Essex, IA, Ronald (Denise) Lamb of Chicago, Marty Lamb of St. Paul, MN, Jennifer (Terry) Davis of Cohasset, MN, Diane (Ted) Brown of Westboro, WI, Paul (Melissa) Barney of Franklin, TN; and her close friends and neighbors, Mike Menard and Bob Gappa both of the town of Wheaton.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2008, at First Lutheran Church, Eau Claire with Pastor John E. Kerr officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire. Family and friends may call one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
