Juanita G. Moore, age 82, of Altoona, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2014, at Grace Edgewood in the memory care unit. Juanita wrestled with schizophrenia for almost 60 years and with dementia for more than 20 years. Juanita loved her children and grandchildren. Her daughter, Linda said she was the bravest woman she has ever known. When Linda visited her Mother two weeks ago, Juanita said that her sister, Dorothy (who died 3 years ago) was coming to see her very soon. Today, Dorothy and all of Juanita's friends and extended family who went before her celebrate her arrival in heaven. Juanita is survived by her daughter, Linda; sons, Jim and Bob; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Juanita is further survived by many friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Dorothy; and brother, Henry. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Edgewood Chapel, 2512 Spooner Ave. Altoona, WI. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Bruce, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Grace Lutheran Foundation Inc. P.O.
