Judith "Judy" A. Polus, age 70, of Eau Claire, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her family. Judy was born on August 25, 1947, in Eau Claire, to the late Palmer and Lucille Onstad. She graduated from Memorial High School with the Class of 1966. Judy married Steven Polus on April 19, 1969, in the state of Washington. She raised her family for many years. After working at various places in Eau Claire, she found a great job in the deli at Walmart Eau Claire – South. Judy loved her job at Walmart and enjoyed working with people every day. Judy enjoyed collecting dolls, painting ceramics, art and music, and scrapbooking. She loved spending time with her family. Judy has joined her daughter, Krissy, in Heaven. Also preceding Judy in death is her brother, John. Judy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Steve of Eau Claire; children, Shelley (Mark) Hartman of Chippewa Falls, Scott Polus of Dekaleb, IL, and John Polus of Eau Claire; grandchildren, Dustin and Brandon; siblings, Delores "Boots" (Joe) Siebans, Joan Peterson, Janice "Pewee" Myers, Rick Onstad. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 15, 2018, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 1st Ave, Eau Claire, with Deacon Bob Chittendon officiating. A visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
