Judith Ann La Fave, age 87, of Eau Claire, WI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at Orchard Path Senior Community in Apple Valley, MN, under the care of Optage Hospice.

Judith was born in Antigo, WI, to Alvin and Lavine Duchac on October 16, 1937. She married Eugene La Fave on July 2, 1960, at St. John's Catholic Church in Antigo.

Judy is survived by her brother, Jack Duchac; her son, Michael; daughter-in-law, Debra; grandchildren—Joshua, Madison, and Braydon; as well as many nieces, nephews, additional relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Eugene; her parents; and her brother, Jerry Duchac.

Judy was a teacher in the Eau Claire area prior to retirement. She enjoyed playing bridge, spending time with friends, and was active in many church activities, volunteering, and participating in community organizations.

A memorial Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, September 20, 2025, with Pastor Patrick Patterson officiating, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1314 E. Lexington Blvd, Eau Claire, WI. Visitation will be held at 10am up until time of service, a lunch will follow the service.
