Judith K. Hecht, 70, of Eau Claire, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2011, at the Clairemont Nursing Home.\r\nJudith was born on October 2, 1940, in Eau Claire, to Richard and Kathryn (Easterson) Fjelstad. \r\nShe is survived by her sister, Jane (Errol) Eastenson of Eau Claire; brother, Duane Fjelstad of Pulaski; nephews, Koll (Michelle) Fjelstad, Eric Fjelstad, and Michael Eastenson; nieces, Shelly (John) Madson and Cindy (Jody) Janish; and many great-nieces and nephews. \r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Kathryn, and her husband, Elmer Hecht. \r\nGraveside services and inurnment for Judith will be on Thursday, August 18, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Rest Haven Cemetery with Pastor Scott Miller officiating. It was Judy's wish to be cremated, and she will be placed next to her parents and husband, Elmer.
