Judith Ann (Piehl) (Griffin) Johnson, 57, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2000 at Sacred Heart Hospital after a long valiant and faith-filled struggle with diabetes-related illnesses. Judy was born on June 4, 1942 in Eau Claire and was most recently a resident of Dove Health Care Nursing and Rehabilitation.\r\nJudy is survived by her husband, Larry Johnson of Eau Claire; sons, Keith Griffin of Florida, Darren Griffin of Eau Claire; daughter, Lisa Carrigan of Virginia Beach, VA; her father, Fred (Audrey) Piehl of Eau Claire; brother, Jim (Diana) Piehl of Lakeland, FL; step-sister, Lynette (Michael) Ackerman of Eau Claire; five grandchildren; and many friends and relatives who will all continue to cherish their memories of Judy and her unconditional love.\r\nJudy was preceded in death by her mother; both maternal and paternal grand-parents; and sister, Jeanette.\r\nTwo days after Judy's passing her step-sister Elaine Whitaker passed away.\r\nA private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
