JUDITH A. "JUDY" THALACKER, 54, of 744 Bolles St., died Tuesday, November 19, 1996 at the Center of Care after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born October 28, 1942 in Eau Claire to Claire and Ella (Hanson) Gilgan. Judy graduated from Memorial High School with the class of 1961.\r\nSurvivors include a daughter, Ella Gorton and a son, Todd Lee both of Eau Claire; her mother, Ella Gilgan of Eau Claire; two sisters, Sharon Heller and Kay (Darryl) Broten both of Eau Claire; two nephews, Brian (Kim) Heller and Kirk Broten and one niece, Michelle (Brett) Olson all of Eau Claire; two great- nephews and a great-niece ; many aunts, uncles and cousins.\r\nJudy was preceded in death by her father, Claire in 1982.\r\nPrivate funeral services were held today at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home with Pastor Frederick C. Sauder officiating. Burial was in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery.\r\nJudy's prize unicorn collection was the center of many happy family discussions. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
