Julia "Jules" F. Peters, age 49, of Eau Claire, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Mayo Clinic Health System – Eau Claire. Jules was born on September 11, 1967, in Eau Claire, to the late Michael and Irene (Warner) Whalen. She graduated from North High School with the Class of 1986. Jules married Guy Peters on June 6, 2009, in Cadott. She was a devoted member of Chippewa Valley Bible Church, Chippewa Falls. Jules enjoyed listening to her son's music, fishing, camping, and being with her family and friends. Her friends were an extension of her family. She is survived by her husband, Guy Peters of Eau Claire; son, Drew (Gabie) Murray of Eau Claire; brothers, John (Elder) Whalen of Minneapolis and Maurice Whalen of Ham Lake, MN; nieces, Danika and Carlie Whalen; mother-in-law, Dorothy Peters; numerous cousins and friends; and her four-legged children, Alley Cat and Zeus. Jules is preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 31, 2017, at Chippewa Valley Bible Church, 531 E, South Ave, Chippewa Falls, with Pastor Jim Woldhuis officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will take place at a later date in Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
