June Lovelien, age 87, of Eau Claire, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her family. June was born on June 16, 1931, to the late Anton and Mabel Wik. She was born in the home her father built. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the Class of 1949. June met Pete Lovelien at Fourniers Dance Hall and it was love at first sight. They married on November 18, 1950. June and Pete were charter members of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, they were her whole world. She also enjoyed going for long rides in the country with her husband. June is survived by her children, Linda (Shadrack Schueler) Lovelien, Julianne (Jeff) Strasburg, Richard (Tammy) Lovelien, Mark (Angelle) Lovelien, Ronald (Michelle) Lovelien; 12 grandchildren, Christina Waldner, Michelle (Aaron) Lewis, Sarah Cumming, September (Matt) John, Richie Lovelien, Tiffany Kurtz, Madison Lovelien, Nicklaus Lovelien, Graham Lovelien, Seth Lovelien, Claire (Josh) Heinze, Grace Lovelien; 9 great-grandchildren, Jordan, Ethan, Ella, Karis, Kaia, Skylar, Hope, Milien, Emma; and sister, Delores "Toots" (Donald) McCrackin. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pete; and 8 siblings. June's family would like to thank Dr. P. Tana and her staff for their loving care. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018, at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1120 Cedar St, Eau Claire, with Pastor Josh Toufar officiating. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place in Lakeview Cemetery, Eau Claire. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family.
