Justin F. Sabin, age 92, of Eau Claire, died early Wednesday morning, August\r\n10, 2011, at Grace Willowbrook Assisted Living in Eau Claire, WI.\r\n\r\nHe was born on July 16, 1919, in Virginia, MN, to James and Frances (Keuhn)\r\nSabin. As a young child Justin moved to Florida with his family. During the\r\ndepression, his family moved once again settling on the west side of Eau Claire\r\nwhere he lived most of his life. After graduating from high school and serving\r\nin the U.S. Army, Justin worked at Presto Industries. He married Alice E. Lehman on November 15,\r\n1941. In 1950, with the help of his\r\nmother, Justin purchased a grocery store on Truax Blvd. Justin and Alice operated Sabin's Grocery\r\nuntil 1982. He truly loved his store and\r\nhis customers. After retirement, he spent his summer days tending his garden\r\nplot. The bounty from this garden was shared with many friends and\r\nrelatives. \r\n\r\nJustin is survived by his wife, Alice; children, Jeanne (Chet) Browne of\r\nIndianapolis IN, Gary (Mary) Sabin of Plymouth MN, John Sabin of Madison WI,\r\nWilliam (Karen) Sabin of Eau Claire WI, and Mark (Mary) Sabin of Brookfield WI;\r\nbrother, James Sabin of FL; two sisters, Shirley (Vernon) Nelson of Eau Claire\r\nand Audrey (Charles) McCormick of WY. He\r\nis further survived by his eight grandchildren; Jeffrey (Angela) Moe of Carmel,\r\nIN, Allison (John) Richter of Champlain, MN, Ben (Dawn) Sabin of Madison, WI,\r\nTara (Steve) Sabin-Umnus of Eau Claire, Elizabeth (Ryan) Roh of Westfield, IN,\r\nRyan (Kristen) of Madison, WI , Leah Sabin of New York and Luke Sabin of\r\nBrookfield, WI; and nine great-grandchildren. \r\n\r\n\r\nJustin was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Newell Sabin and\r\nMyron Sabin; grandson, Greg Moe; and son-in-law, Peter Moe.\r\n\r\nMemorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, August 15, 2011, at First\r\nLutheran Church, 1005 Oxford Ave., Eau Claire, with Pastor Kristin Swenson\r\nofficiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.\r\nInterment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Eau Claire. \r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers\r\nmemorials are preferred to First Lutheran Church
