Kathern L. Johnson, 68, of Eau Claire, WI, died January 4, 2014, at Dove Healthcare West after a courageous battle with Multiple System Atrophy. Kathy was born on June 9, 1945, in Jacksonville, Florida to Clifton "Rusty" and Avis (Henneman) Campbell. As a young child her family moved to Eau Claire. She was employed by Cray Research until 1994. In 1995, she was able to fulfill her dream of owning her own ceramic business, "Take Time Ceramics". She retired from the ceramic shop in 2008. She married Dale Johnson June 22, 1974, in Eau Claire. Kathy enjoyed her family thoroughly and numerous other activities such as gardening, her flowers, entertaining, her friends and trailer at Bear Lake in Haugen, her trips with Dale, and all of her customers that came through the door at Take Time Ceramics. Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Dale; sons David (Mary Jo) and Pat (Sherri) Blodgett; and daughter LeAnna (Brian) Pacyna. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Matt and Ben Blodgett, Niki (Daniel) Oxley, Tyler Walters, Hailey Pacyna, and Isaiah (Laura) Humphrey; and great grandsons, Sebastian and Jasper Humphrey. She also leaves behind her brother, Clifton Campbell Jr., his friend, Harold; and nieces, Heather Campbell and Amber (Chris) Rose; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Avis Lang; her father Clifton; and in-laws, Bert and Beverly Johnson. Please join us for a celebration of life memorial service on Thursday, January 9, 2014, from 4:00-8:00 pm, with a prayer service at 7:00 pm, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home West Chapel, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave. in Eau Claire. The family would like to thank all of the wonderful, caring staff at Dove Healthcare West for the care that Kathy received during her time there, and also St. Joseph's Hospice care.
