KATHLEEN R. HAZARD, 48, 558 Germania St., died Thursday, February 15, 2001 at Luther Hospital. She was born April 16, 1952 to Dan and Virginia (Kaskavitch) Newman in Wausau and raised in Eau Claire. \r\nSurvivors include her son, Michael (Angie) Hazard, and two grandchildren, Austin and Mitchell, all of Eau Claire; special friend, Gary Ming of Eau Claire; father, Dan Newman of Eau Claire; mother, Virginia Newman of Wausau; two sisters, Diane (Carl) Gray of Loyal and Wendy (Tony) Reed of Athens; four brothers, Steven (Iva) Newman and Danny (Tina) Newman both of Wausau, David (Lynn) Newman of Merrill, and Cory (Jenny) Newman of LaCrosse; nieces and nephews. \r\nKathleen will be sadly missed by her family and friends.\r\nFuneral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call one hour prior to the services Saturday at the funeral home.
