Kathryn L. Branshaw, 64, of Eau Claire, and formerly of Cannon Falls, MN, died Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Dove Healthcare. She was born July 19, 1946 in Eau Claire, the daughter of Frederick and Maxine (Cole) Branshaw. Kathy graduated from Eau Claire North High School in 1965. Kathy was employed as a Nursing Assistant at Mt. Washington Home, Syverson Lutheran Home and Sacred Heart Hospital and Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. Survivors include her mother, Maxine; a brother, Fred, Jr. of Cannon Falls, MN; three sisters, Joanne (Gary) Murray of Inver Grove Heights, MN, Becky (Robert) Henning of Eau Claire and Dede Piersa of Chaska, MN; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Frederick in 1997 and a sister, Jayne. Private graveside services will be held in Lutheran Church Cemetery in Eau Claire with Pastor Carlton Kangas officiating. Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral and Cremation Services is serving her family.
