Kathryn S. Fjelstad, age 93, of Eau Claire, died at the Clairemont Nursing Home on Wednesday, March 23, 2011.\r\nShe was born in Drammon, WI on October 3, 1917, to George and Pauline (Anderson) Easterson.\r\nKathryn is survived by her daughters, Jane (Errol) Eastenson and Judith Hecht both of Eau Claire; son, Duane Fjelstad of Green Bay; five grandchildren, Shelly Madson, Mike Eastenson, Cindy Janish, Koll Fjelstad, and Eric Fjelstad; along with six great-grandchildren and many other relatives.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard; and her brother, Gordon Easterson.\r\nMemorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 28, 2011, at First Lutheran Church, Eau Claire, with Pastor Scott Miller officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in the town of Washington.
