KATHRYN M. JOHNSON, 84, of Mesa, AZ, formerly of 2618 Yorktown Ct., Eau Claire, died Monday, January 10, 2000 at Mesa General Hospital in Mesa. She was born on May 26, 1915 to Carl and Elizabeth (Schultz) Kuntz in Crookston, MN. Kathryn moved with her family to Chicago and then Whitewater,Wisconsin where she graduated from high school. She graduated from Luther Hospital School of Nursing in Eau Claire with the class of 1941. She practiced nursing through 1945 in Wisconsin, Texas and North Carolina.\r\nKathryn married Victor W. Johnson on July 31, 1943 in Kelly Field, TX. \r\nShe was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.\r\nSurvivors include her husband, Victor of Mesa, AZ; two sons, Victor W. (Lynda) Johnson, Jr. of Pacific Grove, CA, and Michael Peter Johnson of Panama City, FL; two grandsons, Matthew Michael Johnson of Tempe, AZ, and Michael Paul Johnson of Cuyhoga Falls, OH.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gary; and her brothers, Raymond and Wesley.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, with Pastor Gary F. Sahs officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
