Obituary

Kelsey Jolena Rothamer, twenty-three month old daughter of Christopher and Lizabeth "Becky" (Schutt) Rothamer of Eau Claire, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 19, 2005, at Children's Hospital in St. Paul, MN, from acute leukemia. She was born in Eau Claire on July 24, 2003. \r\nThere are too many special memories of Kelsey to pick just one thing. Besides trying to keep up with her sister, Brooke, she loved her books, bath-time and swimming. She loved the water. She was always on the go and at the end of the day she still wanted to snuggle.\r\nIn addition to her parents, Kelsey is also survived by her sister, Brooke of Eau Claire; grandparents, Wayne and Lorraine Schutt of Menomonie, Kathern Rothamer of Prairie du Chien, and Mark Rothamer of Lake Lorraine; great grandparents, Donna Fortney of Prairie du Chien, and Melvin and Mildred Rothamer of Janesville; great-great grandmother, Ella Bennoy of Prairie du Chien; aunts and uncles, Daniel Rothamer of Eau Claire, Cheryl Salinas, John Schutt and Robon Schutt all of Menomonie, Jeffrey Schutt of Wheeler, Marlana Wirth and Rachelle Davis both of Elk Mound, and Charissa Rothamer and Charrie Rothamer both of Lake Lorraine; and many cousins and friends.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2005, at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd with Pastor Paul D.L. Oppedahl officiating. Burial will be in Teegarden Cemetery in the Township of Lucas, near Knapp, WI. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church. Staffed nursery will be provided at the church.\r\n
