Kenneth L. Miller, 86, of Eau Claire, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 12, 2018, at Prairie Point in Altoona, WI. He was born in Menomonie, WI, on January 2, 1932, a son of George and Lulu (Beguhn) Miller. Ken graduated from Menomonie High School with the Class of 1950. Ken worked for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for 37 years, before retiring on January 1, 1990. Ken is survived by his wife, LuAnn; daughters, Susan Hofkes and Dawn (Leo) Timmerman; daughter-in-law, Carla Miller; brother, Ralph (Joanne) Miller; sister-in-law, Geraldine Miller; brother-in-law, Ernest (Jeanne) Loga; and several nieces, nephews and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Marty Miller; son-in-law, Thomas Hofkes; five brothers, Lloyd, James, Robert, Buddy and Lyle Miller; one sister, Mae Miller; and parents-in-law, Milton and Eleanor Loga. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, 1314 E. Lexington Blvd. Eau Claire, WI 54701, or donor's choice. Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Pastor Brahm Semmler Smith officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington.
