Kristina M. Mercer, 43, of Eau Claire, lost her battle with chemical dependency on Monday, February 9, 2009, at her mother's home in Eau Claire.\r\nKristina was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on October 24, 1965, the daughter of Ronald Plumbo and Karen (Unthank) Zambito. \r\nKristina is survived by her daughters, Kaylene Zambito, and Lisa Mercer, both of Eau Claire; her mother, Karen Zambito and step-father, Len Leskinen, of Eau Claire; her father, Ronald G. (Marlene) Plumbo of St. Paul, MN; a brother, Ronald N. Plumbo of Eau Claire; and by her grandmother, Annabelle Plumbo of St. Paul, MN; and by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. \r\nPrivate family services will be held at a later date. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.\r\nKristina will be sadly missed because of her kind and generous heart.
