Lance J. Jevne, 21, of Eau Claire, died Saturday, September 20, 2008, at his home.He was born in Eau Claire on June 10, 1987, the son of Jeffrey and Gale (Schmidt) Jevne. \r\nHe graduated from Memorial High School in 2005. He had worked at Gruen Auto Sales, and the last two years for Alter Metal Recycling.\r\nLance is survived by his parents; his sister, Tori (Chad) Nyseth and their daughter, Cale Nyseth; fiancé, Bobbi Snobl all of Eau Claire; grandparents, Frank and Carol Jevne of Weyerhaeuser; aunts and uncles, Allen (Barb) Schmidt, Joel (Anita) Jevne, Jan (Bill) White, Jason (Lisa) Jevne, and Mark (Cindy) Schmidt; and many cousins. \r\nHe was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norman and Leola Schmidt; and an aunt, Julie Eisenhuth.\r\nLance loved to hunt and fish, and spend time with his family and friends. He knew the words to a thousand songs and movies, with a memory that would amaze all. Lance was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew him. \r\nThose we have held in our arms for a little while, we hold in our hearts forever.\r\nA gathering to celebrate Lance' life will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.\r\n
