Laurel S. Nelson, 51, of 1120 Meridian Heights, Eau Claire died Wednesday, May 22, 2002 at her home. Laurel was born in Eau Claire on July 5, 1950, the daughter of Delos and Dorothy (Regli) Nelson. She graduated from Memorial High School with the class of 1968. Laurel was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.\r\nShe is survived by her parents; son, Jason (Ann) Walters; daughter, Tylene Wilder; grandson, Taylor Fischer; two brothers, Jeff (Michelle) Nelson and Mark (Janet) Nelson all of Eau Claire; two sisters, Kris Squier of Eau Claire and Cindy (Rick) Schmidt of Lyndon, KS; nieces and nephews.\r\nA family memorial service was held Saturday, May 22, 2002 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home.
