LaVina A. (Hoff) Christianson, 94, formerly of 823 Main St. and 600 Graham Ave., Eau Claire died Friday, November 11, 2005, at Syverson Lutheran Home. She was born in Prairie Farm, WI, on February 19, 1911, a daughter of Hans and Edna (Olson) Erickson.\r\nLaVina married Sigvard "Sig" Hoff, on June 6, 1937 in Black River Falls. Sig died in 1963. LaVina married Roy D. Christianson in Cornell, WI, on July 30, 1966. Roy died in 1998. \r\nShe was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, where she had been active in Grace Women ANEW, the World Service Unit, and Lydia Circle. LaVina was a member of the Sons of Norway Loven Lodge #29.\r\nLaVina was a wonderful homemaker, and was always ready to welcome guests into her lovely home.\r\nShe is survived by her son, John Hoff of Minneapolis; two grandsons, Johan (Samantha) Hoff of League City, TX, and Erik Hoff of River Falls; granddaughter, Kristin Hoff of Mpls., three great grandchildren, Noah, Andrew and Cecelia Hoff; sister, Mabel Quinlan of Eau Claire; ten nieces, two nephews and several cousins.\r\nShe was also preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Elvera Erickson and Virginia O'Connell.\r\nFuneral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2005, at Grace Lutheran Church Chapel with Pastor Rolf A. Nestingen officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may call one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.\r\nLaVina's family extends their appreciation for the loving care she received from the staff at Syverson Lutheran Home and Northwest Hospice.\r\nPlease direct memorials to the Hunger or World Service Funds at Grace Lutheran Church, 202 W.
