LaVonne I. Tannler, age 69, of 3450 Fern Ct., a life-long resident of Eau Claire, died Sunday, February 27, 2000 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. She was born February 21, 1931 to Cletus and Alma (Kriesel) Chamberlain in Eau Claire.She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1949 and attended U.W.E.C. for two years. \r\nLaVonne married John W.Tannler on May 19, 1956 at Grace Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. She worked for a time at National Presto Industries and at Ed Phillips and Sons retail store.\r\nSurvivors include her husband, Jack; a son, Steve (Cheri) of Woodbury, MN; a daughter, Tammy of Eau Claire; brother-in-law, Bob (Evie) Tannler and sister-in law, Jean (Donald) Knitter both of Cadott ; aunt, Mabel Peterson of Eau Claire; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Warren Chamberlain, and sister-in-law, Helen "Ruth" Chamberlain.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Deanna Wildermuth officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery in the Town of Washington. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Thursday at the church.\r\nFamily suggests memorials be directed to Grace Lutheran Church, Luther Park Bible Camp, P.O.
