LAWRENCE G. ANDERSON, 88, formerly of 2205 Somona Pkwy., died Sunday, June 15, 1997 at the Dove Health Care Center. He was born March 20, 1909 in Dallas, Wisconsin to Tosten and Anna (Severson) Anderson. On Nov. 22, 1932 Lawrence married Bernice J. Hanson in Barron. He was a machinist for over 30 years at Uniroyal, until his retirement in 1971.\r\nSurvivors include his wife, Bernice; a daughter Linda (Alan) Little of Chippewa Falls; two granddaughters, Tamara (Nathan) Normand of Chippewa Falls and Deborah Butterfield of New Auburn; six great-grandchildren, Trevor and Natasha Normand of Chippewa Falls, Krista and Eric Gass, and Cole and Logan Butterfield all of New Auburn; several nieces and nephews; and a special care giver, Linda Zich.\r\nLawrence was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Elmer Anderson.\r\nLawrence had been active in building model steam engines and traveling to display shows throughout the country. He also enjoyed restoring Model A cars.\r\nFuneral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home with Pastor Joel A. Hoelter officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery, Town of Washington. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m.Wednesday, and one prior to services on Thursday at the Funeral Home\r\n
