Lenwood Gordon Holo was born on June 21, 1938, in Loma, North Dakota, to Nilia Ludwig Holo and Mary Elizabeth (Curry) Holo. Raised on a North Dakota farm, Len learned early the values of hard work, humility, and perseverance-qualities that guided his life. Len met the love of his life, Patricia "Pat" Storey, in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Together, they raised six children in a home filled with love and music. Len proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1964 at the Grand Forks Air Force Base. Len built a fulfilling career as a heavy diesel mechanic. His natural mechanical talent, strong people skills, and tireless work ethic led him into leadership roles. Even in retirement, Len continued working part-time, sharing his talents until his final days. Len also fulfilled a lifelong dream by restoring vintage equipment and reenacting a portion of the historic 1944 Harvest Brigade, honoring farmers who supported U.S. troops during World War II.

Len is survived by his wife, Patricia "Pat" (Storey) Holo; his children, Bruce Holo of Santa Fe, NM; Shelly (Tim) Dusek of Prior Lake, MN; Lynda (Chuck) Whittemore of Eden Prairie, MN; Kelly Brooks of Eau Claire, WI; Julie Rae (Cory) Miller of Menomonie, WI; and Allyn (Allison) Holo of Jackson, MN; along with eight grandchildren and seven great-granddaughters.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 7 from 9:30AM-11:30AM at WEST CHAPEL location of Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral & Cremation Services, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave, Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
