Leonard A. "Doc" Kinnick, 75, of Eau Claire, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013, after a short courageous battle with cancer, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems Chippewa Valley in Bloomer, surrounded by his loving family. Doc enjoyed time with his family taking yearly vacations, including trips to Galveston, Lutsen and Brewer games. He enjoyed going up to the lake where he had a trailer at the Tag-a-long Resort in Birchwood. He enjoyed Friday night fish fry's and his weekly visits to Rice Lake/Haugen to visit relatives. Doc was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following and cheering on the Brewers, Packers and Wisconsin Badgers. He is survived by his wife, Anna (Sirek); daughter, Connie Bremer (Lee), daughter, Judy Lake, son, Patrick (Maureen), son, Kevin (Cathy), daughter, Melissa Poppe (Paul); ten grandchildren, Jen Paulsrud (Jeremiah), Jake Paulsrud, Corey Lake (Liz), Kristen Lake (Joe), Kendal Lake, Johnathon and Nick Poppe, Nile, Andrew and Sam Kinnick; three great-grandsons, Quenten, Clayten, and Jeremy; brothers and sisters, MaryAnn Haines, Bernard (Ginny), Norbert (Donna), Gene, Rita Callan (Pat), Delores Kielas, and Joe Kinnick; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
