LeRoy "Jerry" G. Lee, 66, of Eau Claire, died Tuesday, September 24, 2002 at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was born on September 30, 1935 in the Town of Brooklyn in Green Lake County, the son of Kenneth and Elenor (Krueger) Lee. He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean Conflict from July 17, 1953 until his honorable discharge on May 17, 1954. Jerry married Lois M. Thalacker on February 23, 1957 in Stillwater, Minnesota. He was employed at PDM bridge manufacturing for 34 years until his retirement in 2000.\r\nHe loved spending time with his grandson, Michael. Jerry also enjoyed listening to his vintage record collection and watching old movies. \r\nSurvivors include his wife, Lois; two sons, Todd and Ric both of Eau Claire; a daughter, Sherry (Daniel) Hlavaty of Marshall; a grandson, Michael Wagner of Elk Mound; four brothers, Daniel of Chippewa Falls, James (Marlys) and Larry (Sharon) both of Santa Clara, CA and Robert of Berlin, WI; three nieces and two nephews. \r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Harvey and Eugene.\r\nMemorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2002 at Epiphany Lutheran Church with Pastor Brent L. Parrish officiating.Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the church. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home is assisting the family.
