LESLIE "LES" L. GIGUERE, of 1819 8th St. died Thursday, October 14, 1999 unexpectedly at his home. He was born and grew up in Eau Claire, the son of Philip and Amanda (Andreal) Giguere. \r\nLes was a graduate of Eau Claire Senior High School. On August 7, 1954, he married Margaret Lydia Lange in Augusta, WI. Les was a Display Coordinator and operated his own company, Giguere Display Company, until retirement. \r\nHe was a member of St. James the Greater Catholic Church, United Commercial Travelers, and Eau Claire Moose Lodge #1408.\r\nLes was a devoted and wonderful husband and father, and he brought great joy to his grandchildren, Robert and Amanda; they were so dear to him. His wife shared a beautiful dream she had a short time ago about a beautiful Heavenly vision; she shared with him that no one should ever be afraid to die if Heaven was that beautiful. God chose to take Les home to that beautiful place, and though our hearts have never experienced such grief, we will be forever grateful, to God, that Les died so peacefully and is now at rest with his Savior.\r\nSurvivors include his wife, Marge; son, Daniel (Janice); two grandchildren, Robert and Amanda, all of Eau Claire; a sister, Phylis (Raymond) Savage of Elgin, IL; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Donald and Philip Jr.; and a sister, Delores Severson.\r\nFamily requests memorials be directed to St. James the Greater Catholic Church.\r\n
