LESTER L. HELBERG, 83 of rural Rock Falls, Wisconsin died Friday, September 10, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was born October 13, 1915 in Elgin, Illinois to Albert and Ollie (Beverly) Helberg. Lester married Catherine Schwartz in Elgin on May 5, 1938. They operated a horse stable at their farm where he was a horse trainer. Lester and Catherine moved to Rock Creek Township, Dunn County WI, in 1964 where they have farmed and raised horses.\r\nSurvivors include his wife, Catherine; a son, Lee of Rock Falls; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister, Ruth Bognar; and a brother, Albert Helberg Jr.\r\nPrivate family services were held. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services, Eau Claire served the family.
