LILLIAN M. (PETERSON) HALVERSON, 80, formerly of Eau Claire, died Sunday, February 8, 1998 at the Trevilla Nursing Home in Golden Valley, MN. She was born June 25, 1917. Lillian grew up in the Osseo, Strum area and attended high school in Osseo.\r\nShe married Harold Halverson September 13, 1941. Together they owned and operated the "Harold Camera and Photography Shop" in Eau Claire. Lillian was talented in tinting early brown tone photographs. She was active in Grace Lutheran Church before moving to Minneapolis.\r\nLillian was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, in 1974.\r\nSurvivors include two sons, Ronald, of New Hope,MN and Philip of Richfield,MN; two daughters, Marieth Solie of Crystal,MN and Barbara (Larry) Ehlers of Coal Valley, IL; five grandchildren, Becky Ehlers Barile of Fort Wayne, IN, Rik Ehlers-Zavala of Normal, IL, Dan, Laurie and Jessica Solie of Crystal, MN; one great-grandson, Loren Barile of Fort Wayne,IN.\r\nPrivate family services were held Wednesday, February 11, 1998 at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home with Pastor Howard Fehr officating. Burial was in Hamlin Cemetery in Rural Strum. .
