Linda Elizabeth (Browskowski) Anderson, 62, of Eau Claire, and formerly of Mondovi, passed away in her home on Friday, August 5, 2011, after a long, courageous fight with breast cancer. Linda was born October 28th, 1948, in Mondovi, WI. She was the first of five children born to Roy and Rita (Kaliga) Browskowski. Linda grew up in Mondovi and graduated from Mondovi High school in 1966. Linda enjoyed traveling and gardening, but most of all, spending time with her family.Linda was a member of Lake St. United Methodist Church.Linda is survived by her daughter, Andrea Lugo (Alistair Scott) of Worchester, England; son, Michael Lugo (Katelyn Rhee) of Herndon, VA; long-time companion, David Anibas; granddaughters Ella and Florence Scott; sisters, Diane (David) Mikelson of Wabasha, MN and Renee (Randy) Gruber of Durand, WI; brothers Mark (Gywen) and Wayne both of Mondovi, WI.She is preceded in death by her mother, Rita and father, Roy.Funeral Services will be at Noon, Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at Lake St. United Methodist Church, 337 Lake St. in Eau Claire with Rev. Graham N. West officiating. A gathering of family and friends, celebrating the life of Linda, will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, WEST CHAPEL LOCATION, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave. in Eau Claire and 1 hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the church. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date at Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire.
