Linda L. Warnke, age 68, a long-time resident of Eau Claire, passed away the evening of Monday, December 26, 2016, at her residence in Rio, WI. Linda was born in 1948, in Chicago, IL. She spent her childhood in Durand, WI, living most of her adult life in Eau Claire, WI. Linda loved to socialize with friends and family, initiate family social gatherings, loved to play cards and other games, had an artistic side expressed through her passion of photography, holiday decorations, crocheting and an appreciation of antiques. Linda is survived by daughter, Lorinda (Brian) Horky and their children, Nicholas and Logan Horky of Sun Prairie, WI; son, Eric Warnke of Minneapolis, MN; sisters, Patricia Hurlburt, Sue Panek and Betty Ashley; brothers, Michael Lucas and Wally "Buddy" Ericson; and many nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, John Warnke. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2016, at the WEST CHAPEL location of Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 1405 N Clairemont Ave, Eau Claire, with Pastor Timothy Heupel officiating. Visitation will be from Noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
