Linda Jo Young, age 68, of Chippewa Falls, WI, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at her home in Chippewa Falls. Linda was born June 5, 1947 in Eau Claire, WI to Mark and Phyllis (Johnson) Weiss. She was a graduate of North High School in Eau Claire. Her enjoyments in life, were cooking, shopping and scrapbooking. Most of all, she loved time with friends, but especially family gatherings. She loved time playing games with the kids, and her family meant the world to her. Linda is survived by her son, Chad (Deanna) Young of Barron, WI; Grandchildren, Sierra Young of Eau Claire, Faith Young of Humbird, WI, Desiree and Dakota Gordon of Barron and Matthew Gordon of Cameron; sister, Becky (Dan) Hilson of Eau Claire; brother, Tim (Jody) Weiss of Weston; nieces, Lori Goulet, Tammy (Cory) Sivertson; nephews, Scott (Carrie) Glenz and Mark (Kaia) Hilson; other relatives and many friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Connie Glenz. A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m, on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Hope Lutheran Church, 2226 Eddy Lane, Eau Clare, WI with Pastor Richard Lund officiating.
