Lloyd P. Gomsrud, 90, 2120 Heights Dr., died Tuesday, February 6, 2001 at The Clairemont. \r\nHe was born on November 29, 1910 in the Town of Garfield, Jackson County, Wisconsin to Edd and Lena (Christenson) Gomsrud. \r\nLloyd farmed in the Northfield Area until moving to Eau Claire in 1948. He worked for the railroad for a time, and retired from Uniroyal in 1973.\r\nHe is survived by his family, Larry (Darliene) Gomsrud of Osseo, Jerry Gomsrud of Eau Claire, and Donna (Roderick) DeVoe of Sarona; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his sister, Edna Olson of Northfield; nieces and nephews.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his wife, Vema; and two sisters, Mildred Held and LaVerne Fleming.\r\nGraveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2001 at Forest Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Howard Fehr officiating. \r\nFriends and relatives may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home. \r\nMemorials are suggested to The Salvation Army or the donor's choice.
