Lloyd H.H. Schlewitz, 78, of Eau Claire died Tuesday, December 21, 2004, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. He was born in Eau Claire on June 12, 1926, the son of Harry and Helen (Bobzin) Schlewitz. \r\nLloyd married Marion E. Rindal on August 17, 1956, in Stillwater, Minnesota. \r\nHe worked in the dietary department at Sacred Heart Hospital for ten years, and as a school patrol guard for the Eau Claire Board of Education for 18 years.\r\nSurvivors include his wife, Marion; two sons, Gary (Becky) Schlewitz and their two children, Jennifer and Jacob Schlewitz, and Harry (Laura) McCoy and their four children Ben, Nicole, Chance and Ashlee McCoy all of Eau Claire; three sisters-in-law, Agnes J. Mika and Lorraine (Harry) Shay both of Eau Claire, and Signe (Lloyd) Champion of Winter; many cousins and relatives.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents.\r\nFuneral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Howard Fehr officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Eau Claire. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.\r\n
