Lois M. "Grandma Tudy" Evanson, 91, of Eau Claire, died Easter Sunday, April 04, 2010, at Sacred Heart Hospital.\r\nShe was born in Eau Claire on September 14, 1918, a daughter of John and Minnie (Uetz) Neff.\r\nShe married Rudolph "Rudy" C. Evanson in 1937. .\r\nGrandma Tudy enjoyed crocheting&knitting, especially hats for newborns at Sacred Heart Hospital. She spent her summer weekends camping at Wildwoods Resort in Chetek, WI with family and friends. She enjoyed many social activities at St. Francis Apartments, including cards and Wii Bowling.\r\nLois is survived by her daughter, Barbara Flynn of Eau Claire; a son, Richard (Jeri) Evanson of Carrollton, OH; six grandchildren, Roy Flynn of Cincinnati, OH, Rebecca Flynn of Eau Claire, Mona (Bob) Mathews of Eau Claire, Mark Evanson of Racine, WI, Bert (Ann) Flynn of Bay City, WI, and Paige (John) Boyle of Racine, WI; 12 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Orv Swain, formerly of Eau Claire; several nieces, other loving relatives&many friends. \r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy in 1985, her parents; a brother, John "Vern" Neff; a sister, Lucille Swain; a son-in-law, Dr. John Flynn; and a sister-in-law, Louise Neff.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 9, 2010, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, with Father Edmund Klimek officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., on Thursday, April 8 at Lenmark-Gomsrud Linn Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Grandma Tudy will be missed dearly by her family and her friends at St. Francis Apartments in Eau Claire.
