Lois (Thalacker) Lee peacefully passed away on June 2, 2025 at Oakwood Health Services in Altoona, WI, at the age of 88. Born to Edward and Ruth (Smith) Thalacker of Eau Claire, WI, September 11, 1936. Lois married LeRoy Lee on February 13, 1957 in Hennepin, MN.

Lois had a deep love for cats, and her home always had at least one, often two or more. She loved all types of sports, however, her favorite by far were the Green Bay Packers. Through the good times and the bad times, she remained a dedicated Packer fan, rarely missing a game. She was active on her high school reunion committee and enjoyed the time spent with her friends.

Early in her career, Lois worked for George Holgate Insurance Agency, which was later acquired by Jim Smith. She continued to work for Jim until her retirement.

Lois is survived by her Son Todd (Melonie) Lee of Eau Claire, daughter Sherry Hlavaty of Eau Claire, grandson Michael Wagner of Eau Claire and grand dogs: Leo, Indiana & Sahlla.

Lois is preceded in death by her husband LeRoy (Jerry) Lee, her parents Edward and Ruth Thalacker, her brother Charles Thalacker, and her son Ric Lee.

A celebration of Lois's life will be held at a later date.
